Folk Maritime Services Company (Folk Maritime) leads as the foremost regional liner and feeder operator across the Middle East and beyond.

Folk Maritime Services, a PIF company, was launched in 2024 with the mission to connect regional ports seamlessly and catalyze trade across the Middle East and East Africa. Our strategic goal is aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 to become a global logistics hub, underlining the Kingdom's premier position in leading multiple high-growth industrial sectors. We are addressing the 'white space' in the region's maritime sector by offering the first-of-its-kind feeder and regional liner services. Folk Maritime is creating new trade lanes and delivering end-to-end shipping solutions. We connect key transshipment routes in the Arabian Gulf, Red Sea, and beyond by delivering cost-effective and efficient logistics services that drive transformational trade growth.

Foreword from the CEO

Saudi Arabia has a strong ambition to harness its strategic geographical position to become a globally connected logistics hub, establishing itself at the heart of multiple industries, including shipping.

Folk Maritime was born out of this ambition and will play a critical role in making it a reality. The company fills a void in the regional maritime shipping market – offering the first feeder and liner services from Saudi Arabia, with a fleet of ships, including the first-Saudi flag container vessel owned by Folk Maritime.

Harnessing essential connections with key transshipment routes across the region and beyond, Folk Maritime’s liner services catalyze regional trade and create new opportunities for businesses to connect with fast-growing markets in India, the Arabian Gulf and along the Red Sea.
